About me...

I am currently a 5th year graduate student in Evan Eichler's lab in the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington. My research focuses on the diversity and evolution of segmental duplications in great apes. For more information about my research interests, see my publications. I live in Seattle in the Ballard neighborhood and enjoy hiking, climbing, running, recumbent biking and all those other Seattle activities (beer | coffee | veganicecream | flannel | ridingintherain | farmersmarkets | etc).
